confused WU's all the sudden stuck with "Waiting for GPU memory" error on non-GPU system

Ok, I was out sick the last few days, so I could not check on this earlier.
On one remote system (Win7-64Pro, 6GB RAM, on-board Intel graphics, so no "usable GPU"), there are two WU's now stuck for a few days, one DSFL, one GFAM, one a bit over 80%, the other a little less than 80%, with less than a hour of run time shown as remaining.
I now tried to get them running manually by suspending all by two other WU's (it's a 4 core machine), but after a few seconds they get back to "waiting to run", with for a short period the test "waiting for GPM memory" showing up.

Whisky-Tango-Foxtrott???

Anyone care to try and explain before I abort those suckers? confused

Ralf

PS: The WU's in question are

DSFL_00040-26_0000017_0246, send 2012-12-22 20:48:14
and
GFAM_x2JKF_PfPrflnActn_0059920_0105, send 2012-12-24 13:11:54

Re: WU's all the sudden stuck with "Waiting for GPU memory" error on non-GPU system

Well, looks like nobody has any idea about what might be going on here, so I will send those two WU's to the eternal bit bucket once I have remote access to that particular host later tonight... sad

The title of your post says GPU memory but your error message says GPM memory. Don't know if that means anything because I've never heard of GPM memory and thought maybe it was a typo. thinking
Maybe a reboot might clear things up.

A very obvious typo of course, specially considering the time of day shock ).
Maybe a reboot might clear things up.
A reboot is/was not an option as this is working office machine, not some dedicated cruncher.
Also, at the same time, other WU's, even from the same project, were processed just fine.

And it still doesn't explain why two WU's of non-GPU projects on a non-GPU host would wait for GPU memory when they already made it 80% through... thinking

In any case, a short while ago, I could safely access that host remotely after the user left for the weekend and I simply aborted those tasks and all is well as far as I am concerned now...
