Re: 2 or 3 way SLI questions

I tried to run MILKY WAY and failed. According to a very major BOINC person, this project has an internal "Resources" problem with OpenCL, which has been forwarded to the project to no avail.

As noted before you need a double precision capable card to run MilkyWay@Home. That means you'll need a 5xxx, 69xx, or 79xx series ATI card to run to get any worthwhile results. Nvidia and some of the lower 6xxx and 7xxx ATI cards do have some DP capability but it's been so crippled by the manufacturer as to be pretty much useless.

Re: 2 or 3 way SLI questions

Someone else would be better versed in GPU benchmark programs for compute. However, I would refer to the GPU performance thread. The 660Ti is basically even on the list with the 560Ti. The 570 is significantly faster than the 560Ti (I have both). While not a precise measurement, you may want to see if the vendor will accept this.
