Maybe they are sitting together somewhere discussing this wonderful universe. ![]() crunching, crunching, crunching. AMD Ryzen 5 2600 6-core Processor with Windows 11 64 Pro. Very sad news indeed - Patrick was someone who has certainly inspired numeous people into looking towards the heavens, and that's where he'll no doubt be now, looking down on us all whilst chatting with Neil Armstrong and other inspirational people.

This man inspired many with his enthusiasm and passion for astronomy and he was a true english eccentric to boot. I'm going to miss that monocle.

Back in 1961, I got a paper route to earn enough money to buy the Citation stamp album, advertised in comic books. With all that money rolling in, I also started buying issues of Sky & Telescope magazine, which led me to send off for their amateur telescope making series of books. (In South Carolina at near sea level! Good thing other matters took priority.) Now I subscribe to Sky & Telescope. I was reading the articles that Patrick Moore was writing 50 years ago. Lawrence |
