Not sure if this is the right place to post this... but I'd like to suggest the definition BOINC uses for "idle" (to determine whether to run GPU work units) be tied to the screensaver (preferably any screensaver, not just the in-built one), rather than a set number of minutes.

After all, applications that expect you to still be "using" the computer even when no input is made, like video players, already suppress the screensaver. This would avoid reinventing the square wheel in that respect.
