Is there a shortage of DSFL and SN2S WUs? I have a profile with those two projects (and DDDT2, just in case) and this morning I was getting:
----------------------------------------10/9/2012 10:13:50 AM | World Community Grid | Message from server: No tasks are available for the applications you have selected. 10/9/2012 10:13:50 AM | World Community Grid | Message from server: Tasks are committed to other platforms I got those messages on a Windows XP and a Debian PCs. I added GFAM to the mix and predictably, I got GFAM jobs. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Oct 9, 2012 3:56:28 PM] |

Supply is *never* to be expected as a constant, as the slots available in the distributor is limited [one science suffering distribution congestion causing other sciences to not get spots to backfill]. My Linux quad with a 13 hours of SN2S cache shows these as not yet started:
WCG6.20 sn2s SN2S_AAC62255_0000092_0195_0 - (-) 0,00 0,000 05:59:22 09d,15:39:41 9-10-2012 8:54:00RTS WCG6.20 sn2s SN2S_AAC62255_0000092_0116_0 - (-) 0,00 0,000 05:59:22 09d,15:39:41 9-10-2012 8:54:00RTS WCG6.20 sn2s SN2S_AAC62255_0000092_0566_0 - (-) 0,00 0,000 05:59:22 09d,15:39:41 9-10-2012 8:54:00RTS WCG6.20 sn2s SN2S_AAC62255_0000092_0459_0 - (-) 0,00 0,000 05:59:22 09d,15:39:41 9-10-2012 8:54:00RTS WCG6.20 sn2s SN2S_AAC62255_0000092_0590_0 - (-) 0,00 0,000 05:59:22 09d,15:39:41 9-10-2012 8:54:00RTS WCG6.20 sn2s SN2S_AAC62255_0000098_0489_0 - (-) 0,00 0,000 05:59:22 09d,17:29:03 9-10-2012 10:43:22RTS WCG6.20 sn2s SN2S_AAC62255_0000102_0017_0 - (-) 0,00 0,000 05:59:22 09d,18:46:01 9-10-2012 12:00:20RTS WCG6.20 sn2s SN2S_AAC62255_0000103_0407_0 - (-) 0,00 0,000 05:59:22 09d,18:52:23 9-10-2012 12:06:42RTS WCG6.20 sn2s SN2S_AAC62255_0000113_0225_0 - (-) 0,00 0,000 05:59:22 09d,22:21:51 9-10-2012 15:36:09RTS WCG6.20 sn2s SN2S_AAC62255_0000113_0123_1 - (-) 0,00 0,000 05:59:22 09d,23:46:47 9-10-2012 17:01:06RTS Look at the time left column (last result bolded). To me when online during daytime, the backfill is constant, to just 15 minutes ago. Platform is irrelevant. Work is not pre-assigned until the original _0 copy has been send out. Then the wingman goes to the same OS family [with exception of HPF2]. |

I guess I'll eventually start receiving again jobs for those projects soon, then. Marking the thread as [Resolved]. Thanks for your replies
