For my sins my works mobile is a Nokia Lumia of some variety with windows phone something or other on it - stupid rotating coloured tile thingies

I might make a really nice mp3 player or camera as it's useless as a phone (Give us back buttons we could actually instead of virtually press to dial telephone numbers)

Between me and this utopia is Zune

You might as well build a brick wall between you and the content you would like to take off or put onto your phone

I installed Microsoft Windows 8 (64bit) on two desktops and one laptop and it's running great. You can make it look like a Windows 7 system if you want. Now, yes we all know that the "start" button is missing but you know, it's kind of funny that the "start" button wasn't important at all, throughout all these many years, too many of the so-called "professional reviewers" UNTIL it was missing and all of a sudden....it's a critical thing now! No it's not!
Windows 8 works great using a mouse. Very smooth, very stable and being fairly new, it always takes a while before many needed drivers for certain peripherals will be done for Windows 8, but again, I do not have any problems with Windows 8.
The "Search" function is very quick and a very efficient tool to use. From the "Search" window you can type in a "C" (no quotes of course) and it will find the "Control Panel" for you and from this you can check and set various functions. Just like in Windows 7. I did not find that the learning curve was hard.
I really like the way Microsoft set it up. Microsoft did a great job. I really like it!

WOW, very few Tips and Tricks here...

Just get a new laptop with Win8. I just want to get WCG up and running. And of course something that can use my GpUs.
