Through working with Richard Noble in the past, and knowing as to how much work goes into these endeavours, I feel confident that Andy Green will be as safe as humanly possible (as numeorus scenarios will have been worked through beforehand), and that, eventually, they'll achieve their aim - beating their own world record

Through working with Richard Noble in the past Now there's a thing I know how much work went into the stability of Thrust SSC and similarly the troubles seen by the Spirit of America Team. But that Rocket doesn't look smooth to my untrained eye and Bloodhound isn't the same flat broad shape as Thrust 2 or SSC I have to admit I'm nervous for him He said after Thrust SSC he had driven that car over 2 more runs than he should have and Richard Noble was so close to the limits with Thrust 2. If anyone can do 1000mph it will be these guys but the risks are enormous Dave ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by David Autumns at Oct 31, 2012 6:30:23 PM] |
