@ rilian
----------------------------------------Great post and links, especially the linkedin profile. Would that all scientists on WCG projects listed 'Public Relations' as a skill! ![]() |

Hi rilian and jonnieb-uk,
Thank you very much. I have now added a link to my LinkedIn profile on the FAAH "Team" page. See http://fightaidsathome.scripps.edu/team.html PR wasn't always a skill of mine. I became skilled in Public Relations, because of all of my interactions with people like you who donate their computer time to World Community Grid. With all of the Forum posts, Newsletters, website creation and management, webinars, press releases, news articles, and YouTube clips, I became more and more experienced with public relations. If any of you World Community Grid volunteers happen to be members of LinkedIn, then please check out my profile and endorse the skills that you feel comfortable endorsing. Since you are part of the public, endorsing the PR skill would be appropriate. ;) Thank you very much for your support, Alex L. Perryman, Ph.D. PS--I plan to devote a lot of time in August to writing papers about FightAIDS@Home and GO Fight Against Malaria. When they get accepted for publication, I'll certainly let you all know. |
