Don't know why this beta set is not passed for validation [is this one of those slapped forehead, forgotten cases ;?), but saw that the T10 are now flowing in production, so guess the test was good [in terms of run time lengths].

Well, a word from the techs as to why returned WUs for this batch are not validating would be nice...

I have 3 Beta Units for HCC right now. Anyone know why it switches every few seconds between a CFSW work unit and the Beta work unit? Literally every few seconds. And I have no idea why or how to "fix" that.

And I have no idea why or how to "fix" that. Dr. Mike Without more information (BOINC Version, cache size, connection interval, number/estimated duration of cached WUs) it is difficult to answer your question. Having seen this behavior before my guess is that the Beta WUs you pulled have a very short deadline and your cache is full relative to your connect every interval and it is attempting to make the WU deadlines. My suggestion is if you don't mind watching the client tie itself up in knots for a few hours ignore it as it will settle down. If you do then suspend all ‘Ready to Start’ WUs, then suspend all ‘Waiting to Run’ WUs. After the running WUs have completed resume the ‘Waiting to Run’ WUs, let them finish and then resume all the remaining WUs. Good Luck!

Ralf Ralf, This was my mistake, I had done some manual checking and things looked good. I did not check to make sure the validator/assimilator were running.
