Think pretty much 100% of the science apps at WCG log a restart... restore from..., for later problem finding if there is need. In this sample it was at docking 164 no doubt where you performed the boot.

The Beta validator is *working* fine, the techs though chose not to flip the switch, most likely. For instance, they could have decided that they want to run the cycle in one [get those last HCC GPU beta tasks out of the way [4 yesterday], clear them out, get the stats of HFCC Beta failure [which is I'm sure pretty production level normal], and maybe port these to the HFCC master database for upload to the scientist's server, so they wont have to be recrunched in the regular HFCC pipe [efficiency].

Just a thought :D
