Sometimes, having them all together like that can help. As you can see, many only have a few members. Most appear to be associated with a college. One of these may be fine if that is what you are looking for. The real question is what you are looking for from a team. Joining a team here has no effect on your points and such. What you get from the team is the people. Being a part of an active team that is active here in the forums can be really nice. I've been on my own, joined a team, went back on my own, joined a team and ended up as the team captain. One thing you'll find is that a team can have a lot of members but that doesn't mean that all of them are active or crunch regularly. Now, being a team captain, I do have to put in a small, shameless plug for my team - MyOnlineTeam. We're not just Dallas though. We're global. However, we have a couple of members there in the D/FW area along with Houston and Laredo. I spent a good decade there in the Irving, Grapevine and Roanoke areas and met my wife there (from the "Autumn Trails" area in east Texas) so we have some connections to Dallas and Texas and we have an active thread here.
