Kudos to all the techs for getting the problem solved! It was a big one, but they did it! Thanks from all of us.

This was a big issue but I did not have any doubts that this would get resolved in due time, though it took a bit longer than expected.

The techs here at WCG are a great bunch that due everything that is needed to get/keep things rolling, FAR better than most other projects out there, where the folks responsible can't be bothered to keep people informed.

Great job by knreed here to post updates on the progress in resolving this! applause

What outage? I had 7 days of work cached on all machines :)

That's what I do now, too. Then the 'wingmen' people complain about PV, but (a) I'd rather be efficient in overall throughput than have machines idle when there's an outage, and (b) they'll get their PV when I'm good and ready - but they will get it eventually, it won't get lost.
