Device Profiles reset?

All my Device Profiles seem to have been reset...
not sure when it happened, as I didn't notice it until today when I tried to add more cores to cfsw to make up for the time lost over the weekend when they all erred out on some machines (some had a large enough cache they never ran out).

I set a couple more to 'home' which is the Device Profile I've been using to run just cfsw (and DDDT2, which I had selected in all profiles), and it said there was no work available.

Huh?

I bumped up the cache on another machine that had been using 'home' for the last few weeks and it immediately drew another 5 work units.

So apparently as long as I didn't *change* Device Profiles in the Device Manager on the My Grid page, it chugged right along requesting the task that used to be selected in its Device Profile, but when I changed profiles on the devices, it said there was nothing selected (except the DDDT2 'intermittent' task) in the 'new' profile anymore (i.e. the server said there's no work available).

Re: Device Profiles reset?

ZoSo, this was noted also for the CPU Yes/No option... something reverted, but else, nothing happened to my profiles... still getting the work as specified under Default and School. That said, I've not changed/saved them, so I'll try that on first opportunity to see what breaks at my end.

BTW, the lost time on CFSW... that bad work is being fixed and reintegrated, so it added time at the back end... the batch counts going through seem though to be up, but I figure it's just lots of panic buffering. Once those caches are re-filled, the distribution pace drops again. The No work [if it stated for CFSW] is temporary... the shared memory slots don't contain CFSW at times with this hi draw. Little patience and they come again. Nothing selected but DDDT-2... most odd. Just opened the mentioned school and the selections are showing proper. After save and re-open, they still show proper i.e. FTM can't reproduce.

I too use HOME as my 'default' setting and over the years now have 47 pc's listed and somehow a couple of them got shi8fted to the HOME group without me doing anything. I quickly fixed it but assumed it was just a glitch due to the number of pc's coming and going to and from WCG over the years. I have the same pc listed multiple times as being in and out of the HOME group as my crunching goals changed.
