Why did the results from the first stats run of 9/2 get added to 9/1's totals?
That's not how it usually works, is it? Otherwise the first run of 9/1 (about 26 hours ago) should have been put on 8/31's stats, and they weren't. Thanks. :-) |

8/31 had 0 validated, nothing to put in Actually 8/31 had the six second spilloever from 8/30. I had three valid results, but your main point is correct. It made my 9/1 totals an all-time personal best. ![]() Distributed computing volunteer since September 27, 2000 |

Some misfiring in the cerebral cortex... 6 minute spill :D . Global validations are about 10.6 per second running mean: http://bit.ly/WCGRTF
----------------------------------------There were some validations on the 31st. 11:232:20:35:36 17,574,605 28,350 08/31/2012 1 of those was mine :) My clients were on long backoff to not attempt report until the 1st . Much can be read back in knreed's pretty regular KN event log: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,33701 where he recorded at about 23:56 UTC of the 31st: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewpostinthread?post=390160 Things did not return to the point that validations res-started until hours after midnight. So as noted, for most of the members, it was a double day provided your device(s) had a good 24 hours buffer [not me], 1 quad went bone dry, and did a little malariacontrol.net for a night. What we have now is: 09/02/2012 1:206:05:01:09 2,251,608 3,372 - 6 minute spill of Sunday. 09/01/2012 512:167:20:48:08 775,395,848 1,223,223 - Anything of Friday plus Saturday 08/31/2012 11:232:20:35:36 17,574,605 28,350 - All hands on deck 08/30/2012 366:257:05:34:22 554,218,703 915,536 - Normal Thursday There will be a good lot of work from the office machines that powered down on Friday evening that wont report until Monday or Tuesday earliest (Labor day weekend in USA). FTM, about 180-200 years short from normal for Friday+Saturday combined. [Edit 3 times, last edit by Former Member at Sep 2, 2012 6:54:51 AM] |
