Mikey, In addition to the Laptop, I have three I7-2600K machines with 16gb Ram in each, just about unlimited HDD and they run BOINC exclusively. Due to the "Warm" summer weather here in New England this year I had to throttle the CPU's back to 70% - starting to cool off now so I should be back to full-speed ahead. at one point I was finishing about 600-650 WU's everyday...happy crunching

Yeah my house gets warm in the Summertime too! I have 13 pc's running right now, most with gpu's in them and do not throttle at all. My basement is 86F right now and it is only about 80F outside. I DO have a floor mounted a/c unit down there along with whole house a/c running, they just can't keep up! In an upstairs bedroom I have 2 pc's right now and MUST have a window mounted a/c unit to keep it cool. My house is all electric and my bill is about double what my neighbors pay, I pay about $525 per month on electricity!
