Not getting tasks may be because you've selected non-available sciences? To discover, select WCG in the project tab and hit Update on left, then open the Event Log on the advanced menu, and copy everything from start to finish in a next reply.

Not getting tasks may be because you've selected non-available sciences? To discover, select WCG in the project tab and hit Update on left, then open the Event Log on the advanced menu, and copy everything from start to finish in a next reply. Here you go: My Projects Please check, or uncheck, the boxes below to select which projects you'd like your computer to work on. This will set the preference for all of the computers that you currently have registered on World Community Grid. You may change the settings on a device by device basis by going to the Device Manager and customizing your device profiles. Each project has unique minimum requirements. If your computer does not meet the minimum requirements for a project, you will not receive a work unit from that project. Available Projects Participate in All Projects Computing for Sustainable Water Say No to Schistosoma GO Fight Against Malaria Drug Search for Leishmaniasis Computing for Clean Water The Clean Energy Project - Phase 2 • Please review the system requirements before opting to participate in this project Help Cure Muscular Dystrophy - Phase 2 Help Fight Childhood Cancer Help Conquer Cancer Human Proteome Folding - Phase 2 FightAIDS@Home Intermittent Projects Discovering Dengue Drugs - Together - Phase 2 Influenza Antiviral Drug Search The Clean Energy Project Discovering Dengue Drugs - Together Please note: Some projects may occasionally have periods where no work is available. If you choose to receive work for only one project, the project may, at times, not have work units available for download. For this reason, we recommend that you select more than one project. If my computer can process work on my graphics card, then please send me work to run on my graphics card for the projects that I have selected above. If there is no work available for my computer for the projects I have selected above, please send me work from another project. Please opt me in to new projects as they become available. Changes will not take effect until the next time that your grid agent communicates with the servers (i.e., when the current work unit has finished processing) EDIT: the screen shot ![]() [Edit 2 times, last edit by Former Member at Aug 1, 2012 11:39:58 AM] |

Could you post the boinc messages log? what do you mean? In the BOINC Manager, go to "Advanced" --> Event Log. Copy all those messages and post them here ![]() - AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 6C/12T 3.2 GHz - 85W - AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W - AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8C/16T 3.0 GHz [Edit 1 times, last edit by Falconet at Aug 1, 2012 11:46:16 AM] |

Yes it will do.
----------------------------------------You have BOINC set not to compute while Action.exe is running. Not sure what it is but you have remove it from the cc_config file otherwise it won't work. Or simply shutdown the software that uses the file. Do you have Actionoutline by Green parrots software installed? Apparently action.exe belongs to it. ![]() - AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 6C/12T 3.2 GHz - 85W - AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W - AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8C/16T 3.0 GHz [Edit 1 times, last edit by Falconet at Aug 1, 2012 11:56:57 AM] |

Not having the impression your client is connecting to the servers, given you hit Update a dozen times. If the client worked, and then you upgraded per log from 6.10.58 > 7.0.28, something changed. Suggest you delete the cc_config.xml first (or rename), then restart client, then do a project reset, then boot, in this order, to see if things move again. (7 has substantially reconfigured control files).
----------------------------------------Edit: it's likely the action.exe thing, which also suspends networking long as it's loaded. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Aug 1, 2012 11:57:58 AM] |
