Fully loaded already, four on Win7, one on WinXP. It sounds like it needed some clever detailed work to reduce the runtimes that much: well done.

Re: Beta test for Computing for Sustainable Water (June 5, 2012) Issues Thread

My clients decided to go HP on all bores. No acting up of the AV this time [a new mask was added, to have all WCG*_intelx86 get right of passage ;>]

edit: And checkpoints wrote under observing the "save at most" rule of the host set 300 seconds.

They are indeed running quicker. Had some start with a predicted 8 hours and it appears they will finish in ~2 hours one hour. No issues. good luck

Wow, the first four have all just completed simultaneously on my Win7 i5-750 in only 43 minutes, no errors, all in PV.

Yep they are fast: on my fastest machine one is 45% completed at 25 min CPU time. Not a fancy CPU either, an I5-2540.

Got two.
They appear to be moving about 2.25% per CPU minute on an Athlon II X2 445 at 3.6GHZ. Not bad.

If only other projects had hidden optimization potential like this one...
----------------------------------------

AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 6C/12T 3.2 GHz - 85W
AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W
AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8C/16T 3.0 GHz

Re: Beta test for Computing for Sustainable Water (June 5, 2012) Issues Thread

First stats [using WCGDAWS history]

W7-32 on Centrino-Duo: Before 6.50 (last 20), After: 1.33 (2) 389% faster, or about 1/5th the original time
W7-64 on I7-Octo: Before 4.91 (last 90), After: 1.18 (13): 316% improvement, or differently stated, in 1/4th the time
Linux-64 OO quad: Before 4.77 (last 260), After: 0.95 (8): 402% improvement, or differently phrased, in 1/5th the time of old.

More received... and done the dirty shutdown stuff on Linux, after first checkpoint: No anomalies.

P.S. I'm anticipating some priority scrambling... oh why did I race this thing to now near green... a throbbing big toe ;P

Update edit: Quick shot from the hip, the HT CPU shows 'least' gain, but 1/4 the old times is... grandissimo!

Re: Beta test for Computing for Sustainable Water (June 5, 2012) Issues Thread

The beta on my slow WinXP/32bit Athlon64 3500+ completed in 73 minutes without error. I can't remember the previous runtimes, but it was a lot slower than that.
