PVjail has increased it's population since this morning/late last night by about 50% (and tripled since the beginning of the week) and the normal "point value" at this time of the day is only about 20% of what it on average is.
Looks like there's some sand in the gearbox somewhere again... Ralf |

Yup - this time it was a one of our 'subscripts' that got hung for MANY hours and prevented all the backend automation from workunit correctly (including turning the assimilators and validators back on after they were stopped for some of the backend work that is done). The transitioners were about 325,000 workunits behind about 20 minutes ago and they are catching up quickly (down to 175,000 workunits now). There is currently 105,000 workunits to be validated (although the transitioners will identify some while they catch up). Things are catching up quickly now and will be completely caught up in about 30 minutes or so.
Sorry for the backup and delay. |

Things are catching up quickly now and will be completely caught up in about 30 minutes or so. Sorry for the backup and delay. Over 6 hours since that 30 min prediction and I still have a truck load of single quorum pending v. Maybe stuck again? |

We may not be able to do anything about the weather, but we sure could use weather-reports. If only WCG has a serverStatus (webpage)...
