confused 2 devices results in two different total points.

Hi

I recently installed second device on a different computer than my first device is sitting on.

When I started the second device I got the total points from the first one, but now they are not synchronised. One has total points of 133410 and the other 133594. Is it possible to synchronise them, that is so both devices ( clients ) share the same total points?

smile Hi Stebbi67
I will attempt to explain it for you
When your first PC sends back a result to the server it adds the points for that work unit to your total points
Your other machine has no way of knowing this until it connects to the server again to return a result
It will then do the same as the first device did
The first device is now out of sync with the second device until it contacts the server again to return a result
As you can see they will never be in sync, but your total points awarded will always be correct
