I don't know if this is the right section for this, but I'd love to see more varieties in projects. I'd love to be able to put my computer power towards helping a scientist simulate the beginning of the universe or something to that extent. Everything is just so medical on here...

----------------------------------------On the one hand, WCG maintains a pristine environment for projects running on BOINC software, valued by many who work only for its projects. I work for all of the WCG projects on four computers. Among CPU projects, they are my number one project, with a resource share of 200. On the other hand, you can find many fine projects not a part of WCG which run on BOINC software at tbe BOINC web site. There are projects in Physics, Biochemistry, Mathematics, A.I., Astronomy, Astrophysics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Medicine. Have a project feast at BOINC's web site. |
