@tomast

We are alpha testing a version at the moment. However, the problem is not completely reproducible which makes finding the issue particular challenging to track down. It will unfortunately take us a bit to figure it out.

Re: Computing for Sustainable Water Problems Thread

knreed, if it at all helps, the ONLY system that I believe that hasn't produced ANY invalids or inconclusives is my 2500K. My AMD machines have produced both invalids and inconclusives. And from what I've seen, and the power users who have responded, many have HT rigs are having issues.

Could the HT be causing issues with this project for whatever reason? Just my 2 cents.

ALL using W7 btw.

Re: Computing for Sustainable Water Problems Thread

Haven't had any invalids since yesterday

Will the invalids be "fixed"? I have 83.

Re: Computing for Sustainable Water Problems Thread

I found a correlation; as soon as I stopped crunching SWater I stopped getting invalids, inconclusivies, errors and single quorum PV's. wink

That's not project dependant - its a known side effect of using barge poles...
Very virulent!!

Re: Computing for Sustainable Water Problems Thread

Still no wu's? That may be a good thing since I got this yesterday:

PG&E energy statement (e-Bills) information

Amount Due: $606.73
Due Date: May 9, 2012

crying

Utility CO-OP ? You'd be swimming in dividends. money eyes Or at least your neighbors would be. laughing

Yes co-op and haven't looked at the dividends lately so don't know, hmmm will have to now though!

Yes some of the foothill communities have done exactly this. Unfortunately it takes a large group of people to be interested in doing so. Not likely to happen in my parts. I doubt I would get involved as the easiest way for me to drop to $50-$90/month is to deinstall BOINC 8 times.

As I paid my bill I did some "finger and toe" math. Took an almost three-week period of time where I was only running WCG (no cards) and extrapolated it to 30 days (~ 200 wu/day). Divided that into 4/5 of my average electron bill. In very round numbers it costs me ~ 10 cents/wu. That is just my situation and I hope yours is better. coffee

Re: Computing for Sustainable Water Problems Thread

We can identify all workunits that were impacted and we will need to re-run those workunits to be certain that only valid results are being returned to the researchers. This will require us re-running about ~15,000 workunits. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Re: Computing for Sustainable Water Problems Thread

I wish you to find quickly a solution. Good luck.

For me
Pending Validation 24 WU
Valid 340 WU
Invalid 8 WU
Inconclusive 51

The first errors are of 22/04/12 10:33:26 in my case.
