Re: Welcome to the Computing for Sustainable Water project!

Hmmm--

People must really be sucking up those CFSW WUs. I got the ubiquitous "Message from server: No tasks are available for the applications you have selected"
Next time BOINC requested work, it did get another CFSW.

Re: Welcome to the Computing for Sustainable Water project!

I had a girlfriend from Poquoson, VA while in college...we explored quite a bit of the Chesapeake together one summer long ago. Glad to have the opportunity to participate in this worthy project.

Memories... light the corners of my mind... misty waters color memories... smile

Say, that song from Barbra Streisand just struck me as a possible, what, a 'project theme song' for CFSW? Seems a good fit. Water:Life. Water:Emotion.

Re: Welcome to the Computing for Sustainable Water project!

i trust wcg takes do-able projects, but i want to see if solid and convincing results are expected. i will wait for more announcements. i am wary of too much speculation in both the hypotheses and the conclusions.

Performance Chart: http://bit.ly/WCGCSW

That [selfshot] background image is not Chesapeake Bay... a place where the usage of water per capita is just a fraction of those living in the USA or Italy where it takes [per TU Delft model simulations], 34,000 liters of water to put a hot meal [with meat] on the table of a westerner.
