HCMD2 / C4CW / HCC have been reported as having backlog. knreed posted that he's started an extra validator for HCMD2 that had the biggest 'behind' with 100,000 needing to be caught up.

....well there does not seem to have been an improvement on C4CW, the pendings of single replications are growing at an alarming rate.....

3 hrs later, can't report, "server cant open database", results status page unavailable
hope for a fix when they return lack of comms is a REAL problem reminds me of the final days of UD, another good project dies slowly |

Is that to imply that WCG is dying out, in your mind? If so, I don't see it at all. Far from it, actually. Every place on the web that has servers (which is basically everywhere) can have some issues now and then. Actually, from recent observations there is just as strong of a case to be made for the slowly dying argument. Prior to the server upgrade the hardware has been having an increasingly difficult time keeping current with the workload. This has not only continued but gotten worse since the upgrade.
----------------------------------------One could easily say that IBM is no longer supporting WCG at the same level as in the past. The point was that the symptoms mirror the decline of other projects and until we hear from the administrators (which have been very quiet on the escalating issues) all we have is speculation.
