I was wondering what was the budget that IBM has to consider to keep the WCG grid running.
----------------------------------------I know that IBM will not answer me or disclose any number but if someone has a clue he is welcome. It would be interesting to know what is the level of financial effort required. Many thanks to IBM to just do it. ![]() |

Why ask the question if you know it wont be disclosed? Of course speculating you may, but as it is, the number was once published by an IBM official. Seek and thou shall find.

Good luck with that one. You are welcome to look for it here: ftp://public.dhe.ibm.com/annualreport/2010/2010_ibm_financials.pdf But I don't think there is a line item for it. ![]() ![]() |

Long decided that in this day and age asking is much easier than finding past answers to same. Type "World Community Grid annual budget" in the google search box for some varying numbers, one of 250,000 is of course factor 10 off the 2005 mark.
