I'm following wcg statistics on boincstats long ago, it was allways going up slowly in a long term, but now it seems that we made a sudden jump. Look at the last week.

There was a points rate increase a week or so ago. Apparently this brings WCG inline with other BOINC projects.

It's because of the software upgrade from march 6th.

 The new credit system in the new BOINC server code [inflates] points. As long as everybody uses the same method . . . . but over the years the points per work unit never seem to decrease. Just the effect of constant begging, sniping etc. Just be thankful that Dr. David Anderson takes all the pressure for MORE!  Your unpressured CA,Lawrence |

http://bit.ly/WCGCPH All peaked, and are now all on the slider too since the system is learning on a per-science basis what to give, and this is before knreed's work to regularize the inter-science quorum rules [such as the outlier rule] AND before the tasks running it alone again on FAAH/HFCC/CEP2/C4CW.
