Re: Wingman - where are you?

Hi Moonian,
If I understand the situation correctly ( monkey ) nothing has changed. The new server code is simply showing a previously hidden grace period used for certain situations. I expect that it will get changed back to the way it was when the staff can find the time.

The way a computer is being measured as "reliable" is completely different with the new server-code than the old code, so all computers re-started as "unreliable". Also, while previously it didn't matter which application you was running, with the new server-code you've got per-application measurements including reliable-rating. Meaning a computer can be "reliable" in example C4CW but unrealiable in example CEP2.

Since all computers re-started as "unreliable", there wouldn't be anyone to accept the re-issue with the shorter deadline, and these tasks would just have been filling-up the Feeder meaning no-one would get any work at all. So, for the moment sending work to "reliable" hosts is disabled, but would expect this to be re-enabled within a couple weeks.

Re: Wingman - where are you?

Thanks, Ingleside!

I was so caught up in the reason why 12 days was showing rather than 10 days that I never even noticed that Moonian was expecting a short repair time limit.
