Geokamayoc... I don't think HFCC will be over by the end of April, it still has 261 days aprox. and HCC goes on (as far as I know). Lots of luck.

OK, you're talking HFCC. Well, based on facts, consider that the HFCC progress % has T9 added. When T8 is finished we're at 88.9%... with the slow boat to China we're at present pace needing 256 days... that's how the formula works... looking a present completion rate.

If you let your device run 2 hours extra each day when u are finished using it, you'll have more certainty. You can configure for BOINC to go to sleep after xx minutes idle on the website profile, for automatic hibernation of the computer]. How?... Clear the local preferences if you've modified them [Clear Button in BOINC Manager, Local Preferences] and go to website My Grid > Device Manager > Profile of your device [default maybe] > Hit Custom button if profile is standard > Change in the Advanced Options section: "Stop work after computer is idle for: 120 minutes. Then BOINC will stop after 120 minutes when the Activity menu of BOINC Manager is set to "Run based on preferences". After that, Windows can be set to power down [Hibernate or go to sleep]. Then next day/next time when you start the computer, the job is resumed from exactly the last checkpoint where it went to sleep. If "Leave Application in Memory, when suspended] is also selected, it will even resume from the last second before it went to sleep.

but i have only a small computer As the badges are worked out on CPU TIME contributed (i.e., 24 Hrs in a day, = 24 Hrs contributed on a single core machine, 48 Hrs contributed on a dual-core etc.), is it possible for you to have/leave your computer on for longer? - as then, you'll achieve your goal quicker. Obviously, each and everyone of us have different circumstances and thus, this may not be possible - so please, excuse/forgive me for suggesting it, but even (for a single core) just leaving it on for 1 Hr extra/day = 7 hrs more in a week. From Zero to Bronze = 336 Hrs From Zero to Silver = 1080 Hrs. ![]() |
