Re: Windows 8 Consumer Preview Released

After having played with it for a while I see no compelling reason(s) to update from 7. While I could get used to using the ribbons and the different ways to navigate around 8 the deal breaker for me is that there is no image software like there is in 7, at least none that I could find. While 8 does give you the option to backup files and folders that's not good enough for me. JMHO

Yes, what is called under W7 - Home Premium - was undressed. More pecunia are asked for the additional features. I like the ribbon concept though, at least, I've developed extensive private ribbons in my Office apps, that load when specific workbooks load.

Re-moveable keyboard doubling as screen protector [like it]... no clumsy jacket... what will Apple say of that [next patent infringement suite ;?]

Whilst, that back support wont let it stand other than with the most gentlest of touch if the keyboard is not affixed. Now, with voice commands that could work, but it gets noisy in the café, all mumbling, whining, shouting into their giant cell phones.
