I got a new computer recently and I tried to reinstall the Grid agent. I can download the install program fine and it seems to finish the installation without any problems. However, as soon as the installation finishes and it tries to start the agent, I get a blank dialog box
if i click on the button, i get to this: Even if I fill in the form, and click the button above "Idle," it won't start the agent. I'm running a AMD XP 2900+ on Windows XP SP2. does anybody have any ideas? thanks |

Oh wow... never seen that before... ok, here are my wild guesses: you may have some missing components in windows and u need to reinstall it, u just need a restart, you don't have enough page file memory, or you just have to uninstall the wcg program, redownload it, and then reinstall it. I have no idea what's going on, but it's missing letters on the buttons, and that blank dialog box probably is saying something is missing, there is an error, or there is a missing component or something... not really helpful... sorry, at least I think i narrowed the possibilities... sorry i couldn't be of good assistance...

Thanks so much...i figured somebody else had had the same problem, but couldn't find it in the forum. Back to the grind.
