Made sapphire on DDDT2 tonight! Getting it and CEP2 out of the way feels REAL good. Things are much simpler now. One profile to get DSFL and one to get GFAM. Think I'll go for ruby on DSFL first and then decide between going all the way to sapphire or bringing GFAM up to ruby first stepping the two projects. If I get both to sapphire before another new project, then I'll go down to just one profile that says send me some work.

Went to a meeting on Agenda 21 last night--if you dont know what it is i advise you all to Google it.They have a lot of buzz words like sustainability but its about property rights and if your County passes it you will NOT have any--Dr.Fred Singer-Dr.Charles Battig and Kenneth Haapala were the speakers--they are all well informed on climate change and how it relates to Global Govt.--Also Al Carpenter,CDR USN (Ret.) was there he was a prisoner of war with John McCain in Vietnam and does not have much good to say about him---------------------------------------------------You all have a Great Day as our Friend RT says

Good Morning my fine friends of MOT Congratulations to masurg! Made sapphire on DDDT2 tonight! Getting it and CEP2 out of the way feels REAL good. Things are much simpler now. I am ready for them to come out with a new project so I can hunt one. Right now I can't get any more with the exception of a better Beta badge. I have been stuck 10.5 days short of Emerald for quite a while. Perhaps soon. I really like having one profile to work with. Simplifies things tremendously. I think Gerald just has one that includes every project. There is a man that knows how to simplify things. If I did not have such a bias for Cancer projects, and want every possible badge, I would copy him.I will look at that Agenda 21 thing Gerald. It is a good day for all you fine people to have a good day. One of your friends in Texas ![]() |

Badges! Had I not told Sekerob that I would run 100% HCC until its end, I would probably have my sapphire level badge for GFAM by now. As it is, I have 7 years 111 days for HCC and I am trying to make it to 8 years. Not quite like RT who should have 100 years for HCC by now, but I only run one profile for all of my machines - I didn't any point in breaking things up the way keithhenry does. I will be running 100% GFAM as soon as HCC completes.

Well may be that it is not that important...unless you have something to do with the peanut butter business. ![]() |

I ran wiith just a single profile with all projects selected for the longest time. With the old African Climate project, I got all of one WU. That was before they came out with badges though. Flu and the first CEP were the first projects after they started badges that ended before I made it to sapphire running with that profile. Rice was the first project where I went with a profile with just that project selected. It wasn't until DDDT2 with its scarcity of WUs and CEP2 with its intensive memory needs that I got as complex as I did. Adding memory to my machines addressed the CEP2 issue and was something I should have done much earlier. Most of the complexity was from having a set up that I could use to go grab a few days work on a project and then crunch them while my machines kept asking for DDDT2 work. When a rain hit, I'd get a nice bucket full. Now, with CEP2 and DDD2 at sapphire, it's really nice to get back to something much simpler. I still haven't really made up my mind if I want to take DSFL to sapphire and then do the same with GFAM or do them both at the same time. With the badges setup, I find I want to max each project. Maybe that was part of the idea behind them, I don't know. Besides, being able to focus on the latest project seems to help point-wise. Each new project seems to give slightly more points per unit of runtime than the one before.
