On the website, click on My Grid, Result Status.
----------------------------------------What is the status showing against all of your WUs? Will either be: "In Progress" - you haven't sent the result back "Pending Validation" - you have sent the result back, but are waiting on your wingman to do the same. "Inconclusive" - result needs checking against another copy of the WU. Just wait. "Valid" - result sent back was good and you will get credit the next time the stats are updated (twice a day) etc "reporting 1 completed task" is good. Check the above. "restarting task" is usually due to you turning off the PC while the WU was being worked on. Please report back with above info. Patrick  |

You found the Tasks tab and the Message tab. Did you visit the Project tab? Does it show any credits on the WCG project line? If yes and you visit WCG website's My Grid > Result Status page there'd be listed tasks with credit, at the very least tasks in a Pending Validation state. Still, we're interested what member name is shown on the Project tab of the BOINC Manager. Surprise us and tell us it's not the same as MERITHelpdesk.

So, since I replied about an hour ago, my device installation has changed to 1. My statistics all still show as zeros. and on the My Grid > results status page I now have one entry that reads 'valid' and one that reads 'in progress'. As for the project tab on my bionic manager, it reads (in order):
Project: World community grid, Account: MERITHelpdesk, Team: University of Wisconsin-Madison, Work done: 0.00, Avg. Work: 0.00, Resource share: 100% Status: [blank] |

After the midnight (UTC) update you have 21 hrs, as a new member your wu will need to be verified before they will be accepted, this can take up to 2 weeks, but usually much faster. as you pass those then you will start verifying the single issue wu within about 30 min of return. The stats page is only updated twice a day at midnight and noon UTC time, at which time anything you have verified from last update will be added.
For the jobs that require 2 or more copys to be sent out, seems is always a few waiting for the 2nd copy to be returned (wingman), when they do, they will be added to that days stats at next update. Good Luck, Happy Crunching and welcome to the grid |
