Thanks. Same here, 1 per core of each kind, many less cores than the post above ;-)
Silver is much closer now! |

Got 72 in total. A good mix between GFAM and DSFL. A few have validated, many are in PV and no errors so far.
----------------------------------------So far so good. Keep sending them, I need 18 days runtime to reach gold. |

Hypernova, Crystal Pellet: How was the checkpointing? Do the beta WUs still do a write-to-disk at a rate of more than 1-per-minute?

Hypernova, Crystal Pellet: How was the checkpointing? Do the beta WUs still do a write-to-disk at a rate of more than 1-per-minute? Because you're asking in the DSFL BETA thread, I'll give some DSFL-checkpoints with the default write to disk setting every 60 seconds: World Community Grid 30-nov 14:29 [checkpoint] result BETA_DSFL_00000073_0000054_0905_0 checkpointed World Community Grid 30-nov 14:38 [checkpoint] result BETA_DSFL_00000073_0000054_0905_0 checkpointed World Community Grid 30-nov 14:48 [checkpoint] result BETA_DSFL_00000073_0000054_0905_0 checkpointed World Community Grid 30-nov 14:24 [checkpoint] result BETA_DSFL_00000073_0000054_0955_1 checkpointed World Community Grid 30-nov 14:30 [checkpoint] result BETA_DSFL_00000073_0000054_0955_1 checkpointed World Community Grid 30-nov 14:35 [checkpoint] result BETA_DSFL_00000073_0000054_0955_1 checkpointed World Community Grid 30-nov 14:40 [checkpoint] result BETA_DSFL_00000073_0000054_0955_1 checkpointed World Community Grid 30-nov 14:46 [checkpoint] result BETA_DSFL_00000073_0000054_0955_1 checkpointed World Community Grid 30-nov 14:24 [checkpoint] result BETA_DSFL_00000073_0000054_0997_0 checkpointed World Community Grid 30-nov 14:30 [checkpoint] result BETA_DSFL_00000073_0000054_0997_0 checkpointed World Community Grid 30-nov 14:36 [checkpoint] result BETA_DSFL_00000073_0000054_0997_0 checkpointed World Community Grid 30-nov 14:43 [checkpoint] result BETA_DSFL_00000073_0000054_0997_0 checkpointed World Community Grid 30-nov 14:47 [checkpoint] result BETA_DSFL_00000073_0000054_0997_0 checkpointed World Community Grid 30-nov 14:27 [checkpoint] result BETA_DSFL_00000073_0000054_1049_1 checkpointed World Community Grid 30-nov 14:37 [checkpoint] result BETA_DSFL_00000073_0000054_1049_1 checkpointed World Community Grid 30-nov 14:47 [checkpoint] result BETA_DSFL_00000073_0000054_1049_1 checkpointed |

This one on AMD windows 2000 looks like it is heading for invalid (currently inconclusive), as have all DSFL and GFAM on this PC.
----------------------------------------I have dropped DSFL and GFAM from it's project list. Other betas on Linux x64 look OK, 2 valid (GFAM), 2 PV (1 each). Paul. Two invalids and two inconclusive off of one of my machines, all the other machines appear to be doing just fine with this iteration.
----------------------------------------I wouldn't worry too much about the invalids. I'm pretty sure that machine has some cooling issues. I have a massive CPU fan but one of the case fans or possibly the PSU fan is making noise. Distributed computing volunteer since September 27, 2000 |
