Status of project

We have resolved the issues of sending results to the researcher's server. After we send some of the backlog of results accumulated on the servers at World Community Grid, we will resume sending out new work for the project. This should happen in about two weeks. Thanks for you patience and contributions.

Re: Status of project

That's excellent news Viktors - just at the time when HFCC is coming back fully on stream, but when C4CW has just gone off stream...

This certainly illustrates as to how much of a juggling act simply maintaining all these projects must be - and that's not including bringing new projects online... Surely the admins/techies behind the scenes deserves to have their team expanded to cope with the workload...

Re: Status of project

This is great news. Thanks to all who helped fix the issue. I would be interested to have any idea of how fast the results are been send to the research servers?

Maybe end of November ?

Not sure where I got the idea, but I was under the impression that the end of November was the ETA for the renewal of operations for this project. I hope it's soon because I want to chase after the silver. tongue

Re: Maybe end of November ?

We are currently sending the backlog of results to the research server for the Help Cure Muscular Dystrophy project. This should take about another week or two at most and then we will resume sending out new work units to process. Thank you of your patience.

Re: Maybe end of November ?

Viktors, thanks for the info.

May I ask, how much data are we talking about, and is there a limit on the speed it can be transferred?

Oh dear.

Now you wouldn't be implying that as data is shuffled off to Lyons it would make space that could be filled with new work would you?

There are obviously technical reasons that we have to wait for the completion of backlog-transmission before we can resume...
