50C is the case temp, not the CPU temp. I would expect failures if the case temp was 67C. Most people don't bother to look at the case temp, or temperatures of other devices, just the CPU, despite the fact that the CPU is the least likely component to fail in a computer. Speccy from Piriform can give you this info on many Windows systems. It actually says (less than 50C is OK).
