I was wondering if you could get a WCG certificate like the seti@home does? The page also the logos. I ask this because I have got a few business to start running WCG and it would be nice for them to be able to get a certificate to hang on their walls for their customers to see. If WCG does not do certificate is there anyone here they would know how to make one from scratch? They all just started so they will not need one for 6-12 months from now. Thanks in advance.
Example: Certificate of Computation This certifies that Brandon has participated in the SETI@home project since 17 May 2009, and has contributed 4,114 Cobblestones of computation (3.55 quadrillion floating-point operations) to SETI@home's search for extraterrestrial life. Hi Brandon1980
*Rumor* is that WCG will be implementing [print it yourself] certificates of contribution in the not too distant future. Making one up is easy with any modern wordprocessor... little cut and paste. For instance, by using the widget you can build on the My Grid page https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/viewGetWidget.do and use that as starting point. --//-- |

If you crunch for non-WCG projects you can do a cross-project Certificate for all the projects you contribute to, including WCG.
Some, but not all projects have this available from their, 'Your Account' page. site/cert_all.php I don't understand the ordering of the projects however; it's not done by credit total, rac, date or even alphabetically. |

so finding an alien is equally important to finding yet another prime number with 100500 digits ;) Couldn't care less for another prime to be scribbled down somewhere, and if someone finds a microbe on the moon, well I might look up but I'm not going to fall of the edge of my chair. So for some,

This is an old thread, but I was curious whether there had been any progress on WCG providing an easily printable certificate of completions ? The badges are cute, and the 'widgets' are useful but something I can hang on a wall would be nicer.
I can make my own - but why isn't there something standard ? |

There is no WCG official certificate of which I am aware. However I seem to recall that team Userfriendly was printing certificates for their team members or at least had a template for one.

The only progress made on the suggestion is that we are all 2 years older. The recognition of your contribution is not a priority to WCG, at least for the last 2 years; and counting. |
