Hello,
----------------------------------------sorry for opening a thread for this, and for wasting your time while more important stuff is going on on this project, but as a cruncher this is important to me and the request has not the right visibility in other threads IMHO. I have more than 1 day of CPU time errored out, see the post: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,31704#339437 Could you please run whenever you can the script to recognize this CPU time? I really appreciate the efforts you eventually dedicate to this; if you find my request inopportune please discard this message without replying. Thanks [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Sep 8, 2011 4:44:08 PM] |

Hi latakia,
----------------------------------------Generally if your task errors out, you will only get points and CPU time only if all copies of the same task errors out. If your copy errors out and two other copies are valid, most likely something is wrong with the computer that errored out and that computer needs to be checked out. Manual assignment of points for any task is extremely rare. JB [Edit 2 times, last edit by bieberj at Sep 8, 2011 5:54:22 PM] |

The only "unusual" things I have seen for DSFL are two WUs which did not complete due to "Inconclusive" status. My wingman has the same status and a third wingman is now in progress on both of those WUs. I have not had any errors for DSFL on any of the computers I am using (4 machines and 12 cores).
