That's great!
----------------------------------------Are you running about 12-13 total threads/cores/CPUs 24/7? 8 CPUs more would give you a good boost. You could catch up on badges faster.

nasher,
----------------------------------------19 CPUs along with a few part timers would do wonders for your stats. Do you plan on running HCC GPU? I added an NVIDIA GTX 480 and picked up The screensaver errored 11 of them before I figured it out. Looking at the other graphics cards the 480 is a good choice. The work units were completing in about 170 seconds. It cost $239 but might be cheaper now. I am not sure that the newer graphics cards are better.

not sure if i am going to run the GPU or not depends on how they do and what happens with them... right now im running a few different GPU BOINC opportunities not sure i will see once it gets past beta. will probably run it at least part time on the GPU's that can handle it

The number of HCC GPU Betas were amended because I miscounted.
----------------------------------------There were at least 67 valid and 11 errors. This time I used WCGDAWS to count them; it is so much easier.

Congratulations BURNO
grumpygrampy, I thought our Captain had taken care of those tickets a long time ago Well, we do have an amusement park in Denmark also - not that I can afford inviting you - but as with the trip to Disney World, we may just put it on the agenda for the dreams we dream tonight ![]() |

little mermaid,
----------------------------------------How was your trip? It was quiet while you were away. I have a 1-2 week trip scheduled for July but having recently purchased a new laptop I will try to check-in when possible. grumpygrampy, You are right to point out Burno's accomplishment. I look at the team stats every day but find it hard to keep up with milestones.

Has anyone had experience with Fatdog 64 or Puppy?
----------------------------------------I like the idea that web applications run as a non-privileged user, spot. Seems like a safer way to access the Internet. Do not have a Linux box but do have a Dell 2400 (Pentium 4 2.4GHz) that could be converted from Windows XP. Also curious if BOINC would run faster on Fatdog 64 or Puppy. Your comments are welcomed.
