Well isn't this interesting. 3 of my first 7 PV are resends. 2 were errors, 1 was a user aborted. User aborted? *scratches head* Maybe someone was testing if the tasks would suspend and made the wrong selection Just noticed another oddity. I'm still getting beta resends. 7 since I got home from work. I'm assuming these betas are for another soon to be launched project and not from DSFL?

There's a --//-- I've brought it up before, but I would still love to see these white badges used upon the first validated result. Distributed computing volunteer since September 27, 2000 |

I have returned more than twenty results and not one has yet been acknowledged as awaiting validation let alone being validated. Congratulations on getting one of, if not the first, validated results!

yes I agree cancer is my main goal being a cancer survivor... but honestly any of these cures for anything else may end up curing cancer.
----------------------------------------It is amazing the amount of meds that have other uses... heck for my vertigo I am on an epilepsy med. so all research is valid. right now im working cep2 for my badge and this project for my badge... once i am satisfied with my badges i will probably swap back... but right now I love hitting a new project running.. even if i only have 5 cores total on my 3 machines and they are old machines too... but they get the job done. first work unit should be done within the hour... still clearing the decks of other work units on my computers love to hear more about this project |

I'll agree with that. There's an odd glee in hitting a new project and hitting it hard with everything at hand.

Have created a draft DSFL Crunching Chart set at 365 days to complete [per the project Research page]. Should volume information become available, how the jobs are cut, the progress counter will be amended. The link to the chart is http://bit.ly/WCGDSL where the background will be changed when more artwork becomes visible at the project external website. Now, lets crunch these parasites to obliteration. --//-- edit: To capture in multiple places, here a post quote by seippel providing total jobs. Production will have to show after a while how many tasks come out of a target/batch-set on average. This may not work 100% since ligands vary in how heavy the are to compute and a project target mean time of 6 CPU hours. Work unit numbering is in this format: DSFL_TTTTTTTT_BBBBBBB_WWWW T=Target B=Batch W=Work unit number The current number of targets is 5353 and there are 58 batches per a target (0-57). The number of work units in a batch can vary, but will likely be around 1000. Sek, you have created a picture with status 0.00 % Calendar - I saw this in HPF, FAAH,... projects. What means "Calendar" - instead of Volume? thanks Means that the percent progress works on the calendar days passed and days left till expected end date (1 year) absent [any/reliable] volume information. The dashboard would probably print 365 or 364 days today, depending on the hour of the day the chart is printed. --//-- |

Still nobody with a new badge yet. I'm 20+% towards a gong and 5 pages of PV. The excitement is almost too much to take
