Members of World Community Grid,
I wanted to write and thank you all for your donations of CPU time. It means a lot to me, as without them I would not have been able to do the work that I have done. On a personal note, I have finished my graduate work and have accepted postdoctoral work at another university. The project will be run a new postdoc in our lab here at UTMB, she should introduce herself shortly. You all played a key role in allowing me to finish my work. World Community Grid goal is to improve the world and the goal of my project here has been new drugs for dengue, but it has also improved the life of my family and me. Thank you, Robert D. Malmstrom Ph.D. (Thank for helping with the Ph.D. part) |

Thanks Robert and Hello to Everyone,
This is Usha Viswanathan and I have joined Prof. Stanley Watowich as a post-doc to continue the Dengue Project. I gained PhD in computational chemistry from UMASS Amherst. I am very excited and want to take this project to great heights with my efforts. I really appreciate everyone for their CPU time dedicated for this project. |

Best of luck in your new endeavours Robert (don't forget, wherever you go, if there's a computer handy, get it crunching WCG in it's spare time)
----------------------------------------![]() Meanwhile, welcome Usha. As I'm sure you've already realised/been told, we're a friendly bunch here - especially if you post here frequently and provide us with lots of WU's to crunch ![]() ![]() |
