 Good Morning MOT Good Morning to potential MOT members as well. Congratulations Judson and xroule  Big milestones both.Really glad to hear from you Gerald. That is too bad about having all that OpSys work, but great about the air conditioning. At least temporarily, the blistering heat has abated here. Today the high is forecasted to be 87F. Amazing. It is 71F outside now and that is sooooo much better. Hopefully I will have the bits all here this week for the new cruncher. Looking at the numbers, I remember that it was not too long ago when it was unheard of for anyone to get 100k in points in a day. Now there are several doing it every day. We have to be making a real solid contribution to finding the cures....just have to be. Everyone have a great day!  |

Darth... what is a C4D? Shorthand for a Core 2 Quad, a subtle insult to Intel's marketing, i.e. - Core Duo, which is a single core (and makes no sense, even with HT) - Core 2 Duo which is dual core (but has no HT) --- so --- - Core 4 Duo would have been more consistent, especially since it is 2 Core 2 Duos in the same package. - D |

Good Morning My Online Team We have massive fires here in the Great State of Texas. There is one in my county but, at least for now, it is not threatening our place. This drought is killing everything. The situation is desperate for lots of people. For my wife and I, everything is just fine, but for a simple spark in the area we are in, that could change very dramatically.  I just noticed that it looks like the stats cooker did not run yet this morning. IIRC, it should have by now. This drought is killing everything. The situation is desperate for lots of people. For my wife and I, everything is just fine, but for a simple spark in the area we are in, that could change very dramatically. I just noticed that it looks like the stats cooker did not run yet this morning. IIRC, it should have by now. Oh well.Everyone do their best at having a great day! Stay safe. I've been watching a fire here in California, as well. It's in the Tehachapi mountains and was started by a Cessna plane crash. Watching it through a telescope, I could see the fire burning the trees (although the image was upside down). We got smoked out one night, but the wind has shifted and someone else is getting the smoke and the ash, now.
