confused when i restart my task becomes zero

i have to have the computer over 24 hours on because if i turn off or suspend the task temporarily not save the work.
I need help

Have you got the "Leave application in memory while suspended" option ticked? - as, with CEP2, I'd strongly suggest that.

Some people recommend using hibernation instead of shutting down the PC to avoid losing any progress. However, this may still cause CEP2 to restart at last checkpoint (see here). Looks like it's best to suspend the tasks first (with "leave apps in memory" on, of course).
Also, if your OS cannot hibernate, try standby (suspend to RAM) mode.
