Rants are good, nasher - and cheap, too ![]() Nothin' wrong with a rant now and then. I process HCC tasks in the hope this work may lead to more cost-effective cancer treatment. I believe there will never a cure for this cluster of diseases, (ie that we will eradicate cancer). I process other tasks in the hope that suffering will be lessened on earth. The hope may be misplaced, but if I do nothing....etc., etc. Happy number crunching to all. ![]() BTW, congratulations to little mermaid on your badges.....good!! There is another interesting study going on apparently for the past 15 years. This one involves scorpion venom. Is there a thread about this, or is it new to us at WCG?
----------------------------------------google the word VIDATOX From what I have read so far, something in scorpion venom enables it to find and target cancer cells. ![]() |

Hello, each person is different to cope with cancer..... physically and psychologically.
chemo therapy is only one part of the treatment. Changing food and daily attitudes, human support have also a huge part in the cure process. Some people have also cure their cancer with traditional medicine effectively .... If chemo is the pillar in the treatment, alone i don't think about his effectiveness. PS : I am a two times cancer survivor.... |

Been in trial for years.
http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2006/06/060627174755.htm talks about it in 2006. It's a certain protein compound from the venom from the Deathstalker scorpion that has been made radioactive. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deathstalker_scorpion |

As I google for cure cancer, I came upon this page. http://americaisretarded.com/cancer.html Is this real? Greetings, all gentle creaders (crunchers + readers, crunched): More 'cold fusion'. I agree with the Princess of Copenhagen (aka little mermaid) it's pathetic how people waste their time conning others. How many false 'cancer cures' have there been in the last ten years? So what if drug companies make money from legitimate drugs? Who works for free in this world? Our volunteer number crunching may some time help with more effective cancer treatment....I'm not looking for a cure. Remember, cancer has been found in Egyptian mummies of great antiquity.... I've found that people who invent a new definition of "cure" and then don't say so are much more common than people who find anything that matches the old definition, for a number of conditions such as cancer and diabetes.
