As soon as I realised a flood was starting, I threw caution to the wind and redeployed my beta-profile net into the waters. I have grabbed 30 faah and cep betas I got 13. All on 1 machine. The other 5, nada.
In 1969 I took an oath to defend and protect the U S Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and Domestic. There was no expiration date.

Came back from work to eight pages of Beta units. I'm glad you've removed the huge upload file, that one is pretty taxing on even a DSL as upload speeds are typically much less than down.
----------------------------------------I suppose I could do the math, but I'm really hoping there are enough units in progress now to push me to Distributed computing volunteer since September 27, 2000 [Edit 1 times, last edit by KWSN - A Shrubbery at Jul 9, 2011 1:35:55 AM] |

I sure am liking these CEP2 Betas. My laptop that normally crashes or errors out is running these pretty smooth. I'm even running 2 at once and not having troubles with it yet.

The other 5, nada. I guess I was just lucky to be in the right place at the right time. My beta PV has now jumped from 1 to 4 pages. They just kept coming in so fast and by making them a priority, they will all be finished in a few hours. The beta profile net has now been pulled in and I'm now back to my default profile. I don't want to have too many 'No work available for the applications you have selected' messages. Crunching in memory of my Mum PEGGY, cousin ROPPA and Aunt AUDREY. |

I was credited with the Betas that Validated last night. The betas sent out on the 2nd and the 7th.
Picked up somewhere between 5 and 10days worth this time. |

Ingleside,
... Also, since WCG runs very old server-code... Any ideahow many times you've repeated something along the lines of this? What's the basis of this ''opinion'' other than the version printed in the message log being 6.01. Are you clued in as to what patches and mods and code segments have been integrated and improved (that are or will be contributed to Berkeley's trunk), are in the WCG BOINC server code? WCG is a large scale science contributing DC production site and not some hobby horse grid, where they jump on any ''latest'', head first. --//-- |

Any project that gives a server-deferral, appart for the standard N seconds on all scheduling-connections, on reaching quota is running old server-code. "I make so many mistakes. But then just think of all the mistakes I don't make, although I might." [Edit 1 times, last edit by Ingleside at Jul 9, 2011 12:27:33 PM] |
