Without wishing to run the risk of questioning the team Statto!  when I have a look at the team stats in "My Team" in My Grid, it shows me that our results total is 1,976,625.Total Run Time (y:d:h:m:s) (Rank) 863:062:10:33:23 (#80) Points Generated (Rank) 930,049,971 (#68) Results Returned (Rank) 1,976,625 (#63) *puts on tin hat* Strangely enough its shows the same on my My Team stats. Curious  I'll get back to you.  |

I predict Soong, themoonscrescent, and crooks_uk all had their "Pending Validation" queues emptied by the system, and all previously-queued work-units completed, and we jumped up about 80,000 results!

Apologies all round and thanks to genhos for highlighting the error. As part of the ongoing automation of the Daily Update Report production I missed that a segment that feeds into the section on Milestone Targets for the UK team wasn't auto updating. It hadn't done so for some days so the actual position is better than initially reported plus the team has passed the 900,000,000 Points mark so the target is now 1 billion due around Mar 27.

I predict Soong, themoonscrescent, and crooks_uk all had their "Pending Validation" queues emptied by the system, and all previously-queued work-units completed, and we jumped up about 80,000 results! Not quite, but I did get a big drop, 39 pages, down to 26-28 pages  I have lost a good amount of time on my Quaddie though, powerpack went and it kindly detached Boinc from WCG, so I lost everything, all work units that where being worked on as well as my queue as well as the amount of time it was sitting dead for + the time for me to change the powerpack out  Lucky I had a spare powerpack or it would have been dead until sometime tomorrow afternoon   |

I may even manage to push 75 million points by the weekend.

...so the target is now 1 billion due around Mar 27... Awesome stats, as per usual, jonnieb-uk, but the old-school Mathematician part of me still grumbles at anyone referring to 1,000,000,000 as a billion, rather than a "thousand million"! I guess I'm still living in the past, using the old historical UK version of a billion, from having done a Maths degree a fair few years ago! |
