Cool, happy now - top 1000 for points was my goal. Next challenge is to stay there.

For anyone working with a short queue, you might want to increase that queue to 1 & 1/2 days atleast, I figure that if everyone increases at the same time, there won't be enough, get them while their there:

As a result, we are going to have to take unusual action in order to clear out the undo log. Specifically, we are going to have to stop all access to the database, take a complete backup, delete the existing database, and then restore the database from backup. This is the process that we used when we migrated from MySQL 5.1 to MySQL 5.5. Unfortunately, we estimate that with the current database size, this outage could take up to 24 hours. I will be posting details about that outage shortly.

Sound advice!

Perusing related threads there's one additional bit of advice:

Don't be tempted to increase cache size higher for HCC [or any other science] than the deadline [7 days].

Doing so will cause [total] panic evolve in the task scheduling!

Thank you for the head's up. smile Just noticed that now have two saphires badges. Also the present from Santa aka the GPU seems to be making up for the 4 core Intel machine that died sparken mit KABOOMEN. biggrin
