How to do this?

I am a system admin at my university and I have about 50 high powered client computers than could potentially run after hours like from 12am to 6am. However I'm not sure how to install the Bonic client so that it runs no matter who is logged in but the users can not see it or tamper with it while it's running in anyway. Different users log in and out all the time. Is there a way to set it so that Bonic is there (is running) but is not visible to the user basically.

I know during install you can have it install for all users and you can set preferences for the hours and such but I just want to make it invisible (not intrusive) and run only during the hours of 12am to 6am.

How would I do this?

Step 1 is, if you've not already got it, to get a written permission from your superior that you've allowed to use the university's computers for crunching. Without this the least of your worries can be to get fired, since people has been sued for crunching on university-computers before, example State of Georgia vs. David McOwen.

However I'm not sure how to install the Bonic client so that it runs no matter who is logged in but the users can not see it or tamper with it while it's running in anyway. Different users log in and out all the time. Is there a way to set it so that Bonic is there (is running) but is not visible to the user basically.

Install as a service, called "protected mode" or something similar, during the installation of the BOINC-client, and deselect the "everyone"-option, and only administrators should have access to the BOINC-directories.

As for only running between given hours, this can either be set in the preferences on the web-page if it's the same for every day, or you can configure it through BOINC Manager.
