Using two cores on a single task

Hi.I was wondering if I could use two cores on a single task on a Core Duo.

Like having an HFCC task and the two cores working on the same task.

Thanks!

Re: Using two cores on a single task

quick answer is no.

The science applications are single threaded applications. Thus one task can not be used on multiple cores.
