Grutte Pier, I don't know to be honest. It's seems to vary depending on how far the wingman got
----------------------------------------A. with time B. with jobs (X of 16 per task) Generally my credit grants are on average above what is claimed on both me duo and quad, to include the 12 hour jobs. Here's a little filter from WCGDAWS tool [piroque's software contribution to the community]. This one indicates a claim average of 123.51 on 12 hour cut jobs and 144.47 grant. The filter shows 14 that have a valid status so far: Name DeviceName Status ProjectName LastUpdate Returned Elapsed Claimed Granted CPUTime PPH OSName CPUModel Speed Sent edit: Extra wide ... entered some text hard-new lines for easier reading :D [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jun 10, 2011 10:20:33 AM] |

Well, it's the fourth of July, happy independence day everybody. And speaking of independence, has anybody heard anything about changes for the 12 hour cutoff?

Yes, in post(s) by knreed. Look for those containing "three+major+ changes" in the search box. Happens to be in this very thread ;>)

Bump...
----------------------------------------Is there any news on if/when this change will be tested/implemented? The last time I heard, was that there were 2-3 other tasks lined up ahead of this change, so I'm assuming that they've now been implemented and other tasks of a higher priority have jumped in ahead of this change. I know that currently, CEP2 is processing tasks needing less computational power (and thus, I would imagine), in general are way below the 12 Hr cut-off, although I'm sure that this won't last forever... Hence, any news on this matter would be appreciated ![]() ![]() |

Hi gb009761,
to our knowledge, the IBM team has already put all the code changes in place and they are just waiting for a change in their server setup to activate the feature. That's the latest info we have, but maybe the IBM team can chime in and share a first hand update. Best wishes Your Harvard CEP team |

Thanks cleanenergy for clarifying things from your side of things. Hopefully some news will emerge from the WCG side - either as an update, or better still, some testing/implementation of this change
