The 7770 is faster than the 5870?

Yep, same way here. Also prevents MS from updating your browser version when they want instead of when YOU want.

We held the Marines off for as long as we could but we couldn't get the numbers we needed.

We will just have to think long term here until more folks join the cause.

Any thoughts on the 7790 cards?

Thanks for the heads up USAFA 82. Looks like a card that might be a good bang for the buck.
I will have to do a little looking to see if it is a double precision card so it can do Milky Way when the GPU work here runs out.

Unfortunately, my engines run at a low power. I have too much overheat and the TET are way too high. Afterburner is too risky.
