Sport remember the "winter visitor" concept? You know what the winter is like here...Shorts and short sleeves.
Just realized I missed an answer to you from earlier. Yes we still have Frys and they do see me more than the wife thinks they should. biggrin

You cut me to the quick
I have lived in Apache Junction for 12 years now. I love the more rural setting but you are right, the winter visitors do clog our roads.

I would say Sun City is much worse than Apache Junction for retired congestion and the Central/West side just seems to have too many gangs.

I can't even imagine living closer to the bigger cities. I hate driving into Phoenix because of the congestion. cool

I guess many of us probably have nearby towns we avoid. I hate the congestion that snowbirds bring but the reality is that they help our economy and keep our taxes from getting too brutal.

Now if more snowbirds crunched WCG all would be fine.

Wonder if their computers would be as slow as a white knuckled driver who can just, I mean JUST, see over the steering wheel?

This has been an awfully quiet Trek...but a very successful one!! Just a few more days and we pull up Stakes...it's a shame that Dan is the only member we have really gotten to know; but U.S.Air Force has gained some friends, BaseCamp has gained a dedicated member and Satellite teams have gained recognition; so it's all good...let's go out with a VERY large BANG!!!!!

You would have loved living there 30-40 yrs ago. Back before all the citris groves were cut down for houses.
